TESTAMENT DE MARIE GAMELIN

Be it known to all men by these presents that I Mary Gamelot Connoly of the township of Wickham in the County of Drummond in that part of Canada formerly known as Lower Canada widow hereby revoke and anul all former will by me made as devised in favor of any person or persons whohever and being now in great bodily trouble and near prospect of death, I do hereby give and bequeath to my son Henry Connolly of the Township of Wickham in the County of Drummond aforsaid all good and chattels personal property and real estate of which I may die possesed and in particular, I do hereby give grant convoy bequeath and devise to the said Henry Connelly his heirs and assigns for ever a tract (or parcel) of land described as follows viz the South east quarter of lot No four in the first range of the aforesaid township of Wickham always excepting thirty three rods in depth whith is to be ent? off the lenth west end of the said quarter lot and is otherwise disposed of excepting also twenty acres ont the S.E. side previously said the residue of the said quarter lot being bonded in front by the gore of land called Long point on the south East side by lot No three in the first range and on the North westside by the remainder of lot no four. This said piece or tract of land to jus?? all rigths and previleges ? appartening. I do hereby devise and bequeat to the said Henry Connolly his heirs and assigns to be by him or them taken at my deceese for his or their use and benifit for ever in witness where of I have ? let my hand aside real this fifteenth day of March in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and Sixtiy one. John McCay one of the witnesses to this last will and Testament of Mary Gamelot Connolly being duly sworn on the Holy Evangelists that hereto? Oath and ? that he was present and saw the said Mary Gamelot Connelly sign this her will and Testament by marking her mark thereto and that he saw the other witnesses James Casack and Felix Connolly sign their names to the document and that the signature John McCay as witness hereto is his own and his true? handwriting and that signed "John McCay" signed and ? before me by John McCay is the Registry Office in Drummondville 20e March 1862.
